EuroSpaceHub Brand Identity


Logo Design, Brand Identity and Merchandising for the European project EuroSpaceHub

In this project I designed the visual identity for EuroSpaceHub, a Space-related project co-funded by the European Union and the EIT HEI Initiative (European Institute of Innovation and Technology). For this project, I developed a comprehensive visual identity, starting with the logo design, then selecting the color palette and typeface (brand book). In addition to these, I also designed the merchandising, including a collection of stickers and other graphic elements. The key words for the development of the visual identity were: Space, imagination, innovation, collaboration, “unexpected” vintage feel. The client wanted to differentiate their brand from other companies in the aerospace industry, which often feature serious traits and a “monotone” tone of voice. There was a desire to communicate the values of the consortium partners, visionary members who make Space a source of inspiration. The colors were selected from a strong inspirational image: the sunset seen from the International Space Station in Earth orbit.
