Be wired! A table and a chair that reinterpret two iconic objects from the past

Emile and 33 were designed during the Metaproject Studio of the second year of the Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (Proff. A. Deserti, A. Sala) in a team of five people.
Both inspired by two iconic objects from the past, Emile and 33 have a fresh and playful look. Emile is inspired by the crinoline skirt of the 19th Century, while 33 reinterprets the vinyl, the 33 rpm, in a three-dimensional volume. The metal structure, made of electro-welded steel rods, brings the two objects into harmony, acting as a technical and aesthetic solution for both.

Chromatic and material alternatives are available for both. The chair is accompanied by a cushion made of polyurethane. The table top is made of marble.

The theme of metal wires also characterises the catalogue of the products, which displays funny visual metaphors with the two objects as protagonists.
